6 Fascinating Autumn Home Wellness Brands

by Lorna Oakley

With many of us now working from home regularly, I thought I would try to put together my suggestions for my dream Autumn wellness set up online that you can do from the comfort of your home.

I’ve identified the game changers, the people that inspire, faces that have become part of my routine and the products that create that Autumn haven at home; I’ve narrowed it down to these six people and brands. There’s something for all of us here, to enrich our lives and wellbeing.

The People to know…

Sarah Hyde

Sarah Hyde, a passionate and dedicated Breathwork Facilitator, is making waves in the wellness community with her transformative approach to breathwork. With a burning desire to help others discover their inner strength and unlock their true potential, Sarah is quickly becoming known as the go-to expert for empowering breathwork experiences.

I met Sarah for the first time at an event earlier this year and it didn’t take long to start talking about our mutual love and curiosity for learning about energy and self-awareness.

Sarah’s journey into breathwork began in early 2021 when she found herself facing a burnout from the demands of her work. Determined to heal and rediscover herself, she embarked on a personal quest that led her to the incredible power of breathwork. Witnessing the profound impact it had on her own well-being, Sarah felt a deep calling to share this life-changing practice with others.

Sarah offers personalised 1-1 breathwork and coaching, available both online and in person on London’s renowned Harley Street. These tailored sessions allow clients to work closely with Sarah to address their unique needs and goals, providing a safe and supportive space for deep healing and transformation. Whether you prefer the convenience of online sessions or the setting of Harley Street, Sarah’s approach is designed to help release energy blockages, reduce stress, improve clarity, and achieve a heightened state of self-awareness.

As Sarah continues to make her mark in the breathwork world, she remains dedicated to guiding individuals on a path of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Her mission is to unlock the potential within each person and empower them to live their lives to the fullest. Discover the power of breathwork from the comfort of your own home here.

Soulstice London

In bustling Regents Park Road in London, lies Soulstice, a tranquil haven where everyone is invited to nurture and nourish their mind, body and soul with a schedule of soothing treatments, classes and exclusive experiences.

Founded by Jodie Perry, the Soulstice doors opened in January 2020. Since then, it has been transformed into a wellbeing wonderland with its newly renovated space in January 2024 incorporating wider aspects of healing and harmony. This has been translated perfectly on their online platform as well. It might not be for everyone, but I was really excited when I had the opportunity to spend time with Audree who talked me through my birth chart via zoom.

When it comes to astrology, horoscopes are only the tip of the iceberg. Astrology is much more complex — and can be so much more personal. This map of the stars uses the exact date, time, and location of your birth to re-create a snapshot of the sky at your precise moment of arrival and believe me it’s an incredible thing to imagine.

Obviously, it’s totally personal to you; you may notice that the chart is divided into different sections – 12, to be exact (not to be confused with your star sign). These sections are referred to as “houses”.  Each astrological house represents a different area of your life. If you book a session, Audree talks you through these (it takes a bit of studying) and for me the outcome was crazily accurate! You can book your one-on-one session here.

Bryony Deery

Routine. If there’s anything Bryony has taught me, that’s routine (and of course how to get a set of abs and keep them). Bryony Deery is a renowned UK pilates trainer and founder of the health & fitness app, Pilates by Bryony. She discovered pilates as a form of rehabilitation after a serious road accident at the age of 17 which left her with chronic pain and arthritis.

After 10 years of self-practice which left her pain and arthritis free, she embarked on a teaching journey of her own. Her approach combines the transformative principles of classical mat pilates with the energising deep burn of contemporary movements, to achieve long lasting sustainable results, serving both body and mind.

Bryony Deery

On a mission to change people’s mindsets towards the benefits of daily movement, Byrony’s mantra is ‘anyone can do Pilates’. The thing about this app is not only anyone can do pilates; anyone can make time for it. I’ve been using the platform from the very beginning and you do see progress and it’s not the same exercise on repeat.

The app / platform is super easy to navigate, it’s got SO many classes, but it also has podcasts, recipes and more, this makes it all the more appealing; Bryony has created the most amazing community through her love of movement and the results are via her many followers. Holly Elizabeth Addison Personal Trainer

I met Holly Elizabeth via Instagram, and aren’t I glad! OK, so I write about wellness, I eat well and do pilates most days, but there was something a bit off kilter in my wellness strategy. Holly became a PT in 2020; ironically her last exam was during lockdown, so she had to wait until Covid was officially over to get started, which she did with a job in a gym.

18 months later, she became her own boss; she was fully booked in the gym but it felt like her clients weren’t progressing as much as they would like, so she stepped away and became her own boss. From days that started at 6am and finished at 8pm, Holly was now working smarter with more accountability and naturally quicker longer lasting results for her clients.

What’s the secret? Well, I found out. It’s pretty simple when you get your head around it and it’s mainly accountability. Tiny changes, that add up to a different mindset combined with her no-nonsense approach means I am 8lbs down and more toned than ever, yet I’m not going without. You can contact Holly here.
