After much indulgence on the slopes and in the dinning room one might think that a trip to the spa would be without wine, well not at Das Central! Wine is a key facet of the Das Central philosophy, which for a wine lover like me is music to my ears! Who knew wine could be good for both your body and soul?At the Das Central Spa I was to experience the Vinoble Signature Treatment “LUXURY MOMENTS”. After changing in the changing room to my fluffy white robe and slippers I made my way to the treatment room, a vast room with two massage beds and a sumptuous bath for two. This special treatment begins with a beneficial ceremony for your feet in a singing bowl, a lovely way to start the treatment and an opportunity to tell the therapist about your aches and pains. Afterwards I was indulged with a nourishing full-body sea salt and grape seed exfoliating scrub, which is a little like being sandpapered, but in a good way as one knows that all the dead skin cells and grime are being scrubbed away. Up next was the bath in a barrique barrel in the luxurious bathtub with a glass of wine and some grapes, after all if one is being treated on the outside with wine it would be rude not to indulge in a glass or two while wallowing in the bath? The highlight of this treatment was the full-body massage with little grape seed bags, after being scrubbed and bathed and with newly renewed skin the massage was the perfect end to this Vinoble experience. My skin afterwards felt silky and soft with a healthy glow, I have always been someone who has appreciated wine but now I had a whole new view on what wine could do for ones wellbeing!Whether you are a wine connoisseur or not there is no denying the benefits of the Vinoble range and their ethos on natural products to promote the body’s ability to regenerate and renew. After my treatment at Das Central I was a convert . . . wine is not just for drinking, be like Bacchus and bath in it!
