Gone are the days when we pop into the local high street chemist before we travel. With so many new and exciting online brands and boutique options here are a few of my favourite SPF and self-care products for skin and hair for travelling this summer.
Gaia SPF
Introducing GAIA’s first SPF moisturiser, formulated with Vitamin E and B5, which both naturally hydrate the skin and help protect the skin cells from damage.
I was sent an SPF 50+ Daily in 100ml (straight away this was on my hand luggage list), it’s dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, as well as being certified vegan. The formula is ‘broad spectrum’ which means it will shield the skin against both UVA and UVB rays, offering a higher level of protection. It feels light on the skin and both my partner and I use it.
Jurlique
This balancing mist is perfect for a refreshing spritz during the day. Offering an instant burst of hydration, this exclusive edition mist is infused with a bouquet of five farm-grown Roses to help refresh and soften, leaving skin soft and dewy. This helps to soften, hydrate and revitalise, with the addition of Aloe Vera to soothe and rebalance dry skin and a delicate rose scent, this has been in my bag and travelled with me to Mallorca and Italy, it’s a beautiful product; that I’ve truly fallen in love with. The extra pretty pale pink bottle is also a lovely touch.

This SPF is perfect for those with more sensitive skin. Formulated with Aloe Arborescens Leaf Extract, the daily soothing sunblock is so lightweight that is feels like a moisturizer, and it does not leave any white cast.
Designed to be travel-friendly, you can easily carry COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream anywhere and layer on sun protection anytime, the absolute benefit of this product is it actually blocks UV rays and has an ultra-lightweight texture.
Dr PAWPAW
This gorgeous SKIN day cream SPF is a protective, fragrance-free, vegan day cream formula. With added SPF50 and PA++++.

I LOVE this product, it’s suitable to be worn underneath makeup and doubles as a treatment product, suitable for all skin types. The formula also contains Vitamin E to soften and nourish the skin preventing cellular damage and repairing the skin barrier.
Side note, as you’ve probably guessed, I’m a sucker for cute packaging and this most certainly is the prettiest shade of pink. This brings me to my next hero product.
Ok, so this multi-purpose hair treatment isn’t new, but it was really lovely to revisit it. The award-winning Dr PAWPAW It Does It All Hair Treatment Styler is a must-have in your hair routine.
Combining seven uses into one product, this spray can be used to reduce split ends, detangle hair, reduce frizz, add shine, as a heat protector, leave-in treatment and blow dry styler. Rock & Ruddle Hairbrush
Portuguese tile designs inspire this beautiful blue and white brush and it’s only just been launched; so I was rather lucky to receive this beautiful hair brush. Having just had my extensions taken out I’m taking a little more care, the paddle brush is perfect for my thick wavy hair!
